Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 pound of ground sausage
- 3 cups of corn
- 2 cups of water
- 1 pack brown gravy
- 1 pack cornbread mix
- 1 cup of chopped bacon
- 4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 pack of white gravy
- Milk for white gravy
Instructions
- Step 1- Preheat oven to 400F
- Step 2- Bake bacon until crispy
- Step 3- Cook beef and sausage over medium heat
- Step 4- Stir in corn, water, and brown gravy mix
- Step 5- Bring to boil and cook until thickened
- Step 6- Prepare cornbread (add pepper and garlic powder into the mix)
- Step 7- Spread the cornbread over meat
- Step 8- Bake at 400F for 15-20 minutes
- Step 9- Make white gravy and top cornbread casserole
- Step 10- Sprinkle bacon over the top of the casserole and serve
