Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 pound of ground sausage
  • 3 cups of corn
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 pack brown gravy
  • 1 pack cornbread mix
  • 1 cup of chopped bacon
  • 4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 pack of white gravy
  • Milk for white gravy

Instructions

  1. Step 1- Preheat oven to 400F
  2. Step 2- Bake bacon until crispy
  3. Step 3- Cook beef and sausage over medium heat
  4. Step 4- Stir in corn, water, and brown gravy mix
  5. Step 5- Bring to boil and cook until thickened
  6. Step 6- Prepare cornbread (add pepper and garlic powder into the mix)
  7. Step 7- Spread the cornbread over meat
  8. Step 8- Bake at 400F for 15-20 minutes
  9. Step 9- Make white gravy and top cornbread casserole
  10. Step 10- Sprinkle bacon over the top of the casserole and serve
