Pizza Dough
Description
An easy homemade pizza dough, straight from my Italian mother. Makes two medium size pies as is, double or triple the recipe to feed the crew! The trick to a good dough is the water you get and '00 flour (bet you weren't expecting a fun fact in here too, but most New York style pizza companies ship in water from New York!)

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup warm water (warm but not scalding!)
- 2 1/4 tsp yeast
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1tsp salt
- 3 1/2 cups flour
Instructions
- Step 1- Preheat oven to 450F
- Step 2- Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar in large bowl, let stand for 5 minutes
- Step 3- Mix in other ingredients, knead dough until smooth
- Step 4- Let rise in covered bowl for 45 minutes coated in olive oil
- Step 5- Spread cornmeal on pizza pan, roll dough onto pan
- Step 6- Bake 10 minutes
- Step 7- To make pizza, let dough cool slightly after removing from oven, add sauce and toppings, bake another 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden brown
