Ingredients

  • 3 pounds venison
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 potatoes, cubed
  • 6 carrots, sliced
  • 8 cups beef broth
  • 2 packets Lipton Beefy Onion soup mix
  • 4 cups green beans (can substitute with broccoli)
  • 4 Tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Step 1- Brown edges of venison with onion and garlic
  2. Step 2- Place potatoes and carrots in crockpot
  3. Step 3- Add venison to crockpot
  4. Step 4- Cover with beef broth and Lipton packet seasonings
  5. Step 5- Cook on high for 4 hours (add soft veggies like broccoli or green beans at 3 hours)
  6. Step 6- Thicken with cornstarch/cool water before serving
